Sponsors Needed for 2012
| With much
pride, Casa Guatemala presents to you the 2011 school work: 250 children
went through Casa Guatemala school from Kindergarten up to sixth grade.
26 children went to outside Casa Guatemala schools, 32 students graduating
in October, 2011 from sixth grade at Casa Guatemala School. They will be
passing into schools out side Casa Guatemala and need your sponsorship to
continue their education. Some of the 32 students went back to their families
where is no guarantee that the parents can afford to send them to school
to continue the education.
2012: Casa Guatemala will be sending a group of 12 Children to a School in Fronteras, this group commute every day from the orphanage by boat to school: Yury, Jose, Angelo, Greysi, Luis David, Gladis, Clara Luz, Andrea, Jesus, Miguel, Maria, Sheily. 4 children will be sent to a Boarding school in Guatemala city: Diana, Oscar Yobany, Marizol, Jose Mario. 3 children will be sent to a Boarding school in El Estor: Brandon, Boris, Denery 3 to Boarding School in Poptun Lina, Byron Jairo 2 to the University in Guatemala city: Elmer and Josue Elias. These two young boys will live in Casa Guatemala in the city. Each student has a unique story, and each needs your help to achieve their dreams. Each has come to Casa Guatemala in need of a better life. Some have come here as a result of an order of protection from family violence or abuse. All have come to Casa Guatemala in search of a good education, a stable environment, and where they will receive food, clothing and medical care. Most of these children come from remote Aldeas/Villages in which they have no basic necessities of life. They want to avoid the traps of being forced to marry at 12, or entering into a gang, or being unable to provide for themselves and their families in which is what brought most of them to Casa Guatemala initially. Thank you for your support and sponsorship. These children deserve the opportunity to realize their dreams and help others as you are now helping them. They have shown their desire to continue to learn and receive a good education and we all count on you. Please direct all inquiries to: Angelina
