This set of buildings houses the library, the kindergarten classroom, the arts and crafts classroom and the first grade classrooms. The green front of the building is easily visible from the river. Approximately 250 children study at the school every day from February to mid December, 150 of which come in from the nearby villages either daily or weekly as boarders. The villages include: Rio Frio, Brisas, Camelias, Rio Dulce, El Bongo, Cuatro Cayos, La Manzanita and Cinega.
All of the children receive their education and school materials free of charge. We are able to do this thanks to the kind donations from people around the world.
