Home to all the boys over 4 years old, we reach this house by walking along the bridge next to kinder. This new building, constructed after the earthquake in 1999, has the younger group living upstairs in a large dormitory and the older ones downstairs in smaller rooms surrounding the play area.
To the rear of the building is a dock used by the boys for fishing. Because of its position on the river this is one of the nicest places to sit, it receives a lovely cooling breeze.
