This water tower, which was severely damaged during the 1999 earthquake, used to be used to irrigate the outdoor farm lands which grow maize (sweet corn), mazapán (breadfruit), papaya, water melon, coriander, basil, sugarcane and cashew nut trees. It is extremely important that this tower be replace and thus allow the efficient irrigation of the farm again.
