Mega Projects

• Design and build a totally new sewer system that can take the waist up to higher land where it could be treated and avoid the contamination of the environment.
   

• Design and set a new electrical wire to connect the generator with all the houses.
   

Agricultural & Farm Projects

• Reconstruction of 4 cages in the chicken coup, each cage measuring 60 x 30 feet.

• Reconstruction of the slaughterhouse. The walls and the tables have to be covered with tiles to improve hygiene, installation of stainless steel tables and sinks.

• Construction of a smokehouse where meat can be smoked in an artisan way, to be sold in the Casa Guatemala shop in Rio Dulce.

• Construction of an incinerator for burning rubbish and animal parts from the slaughterhouse.

• Construction of a pier for unloading goods and machinery for the farm as well as food for the animals.

• Construction of a warehouse for storing the food for the animals. The size of this should be 30 x 60 feet and the ceilings should be 12 feet high.

• Replace the metal mosquito screens that cover the walls of the greenhouse.

• Acquisition of a mill to grind the grain for feeding the animals of the farm.

• Construction of a walkway to facilitate walking around the farm and the area that is being reforested.

• Three water pumps for the fish ponds and for irrigating the plantations.

• Acquisition of pig breeders.

• Acquisition of barbed wire to surround the farm and for creating new courtyards.

Living Quarters

TEACHER’S LIVING QUARTERS

• Installation of the ceiling and replacement of the metal mosquito screens that cover the walls of the house.

• Painting all of the internal and external walls of the building.

LIVING QUARTERS FOR THE CHILDREN FROM THE SURROUNDING VILLAGES (ALDEAS)

• Reconstruction of the floor, the windows and the bathroom.

• Painting all of the internal and external walls of the building.

LIVING QUARTERS FOR THE KITCHEN AND CLEANING STAFF

• Reconstruction of the floor, roof, walls, windows and the bathroom.

• Painting all of the internal and external walls of the building.

Playground

• Reconstruction of the roof of the playground area and the rain gutters

School Buildings

• Furnish the computer room.

• Furnish the two classrooms that were recently built.

• Construction of a bathroom for the kindergarten.

• Construction of two classrooms for first grade.

• Repairs to all of the toilets in all of the bathrooms.

Canteen

• Replacing 8 tables with new ones that have integrated, built-in chairs. Each table will have a capacity of 16 people.
   

• Construction of a new warehouse for storing the food supplies. This is required to improve hygiene and to keep the rats out.

Boys House

• Painting all of the internal and external walls of the building.

• Replacing the metal mosquito screens on the windows.

• Construction of new bunk-beds with built-in wardrobes for the storage of the children’s belongings.

• Construction of an annex for a laundry area.

Laundry

• Purchase of a industrial washing machine and an industrial dryer.
