These three buildings were completely destroyed by the July 1999 earthquake, leaving our children sleeping under a plastic tent in the football field. This was the best we could do at the time, but still the driving rain and floods soaked the children's mattresses, breed millions of mosquitoes, and caused great discomfort and an overall feeling of deep uncertainty for our children.

Thanks to the generosity of Mr.Lennox McNeely from Canada, he made it possible to both demolish and rebuild all three of these buildings, allowing these children to feel secure and safe once again.
